summary: soooooo...You're pregnant, but you don't know how to tell Ben. One day at a family gathering, everyone but him notices, and they start dropping little hints.
warnings: none, this is pure fluff until I start to feel good to make a smut OS on this app. im gonna use (you) for this one since its less complicated to write.
you and ben aren't exactly the "right" age to be parents, its not even allowed to be called an adolescent pregnancy or something like that. it has no name, it was just a pregnant, early pregnant. there were so many things on play due to the situation, ben's career, your college and the relationship. your main preocupation wasnt your college or your parents, it was ben's career just because you believe it would be an obstacle for him, even if he doesn't think about it in that way. the funny thing is, you manage to hide it.
The funny thing was that, you havent told Ben. you havent found the encouragement to do it and your belly was starting to show with the other pregnancy sintoms. of course you manage to hide it, but anything is enough hidden in life. the family meeting was the boiling point and the edge for you and your little big secret. Ben had told you that he wanted you to accompany him to a family gathering at his house, as his grandparents were coming to visit. Of course, the whole family was going to be there, and that made you a little much nervous. It was the first time there had been such a big gathering since you and Ben had started dating.
You dressed up from head to toe, bought a cute summer dress, had your nails done and even got a haircut. You looked beautiful, and of course everyone noticed, but they also noticed your extraordinary glow. Yes, that typical pregnancy glow. Before you left home, you'd been struggling a little with your appearance, thinking your baby bump was starting to show, which obviously made you panic. Ben, in his innocence, assured you that you looked very pretty and not at all "fat" as you'd claimed. Of course, "fat" didn't mean the same thing to him as it did to you.
-Baby, Why do you say you look fat?, you look more perfect than ever.- Ben had a genuine smile and a dopey look on his face as he watched you stare in the mirror. God, you couldn't tell how embarrassed you were right now. -It's okay...its nothing.- Ben looked at me for a few long seconds, unsure of my answer, but he gave in when I smiled sweetly at him. I heard him get up from the bed and, in a few steps, he was standing behind me in front of the mirror. He placed his hands on my waist and leaned down to kiss me on the cheek.-You look beautiful, my love. Never doubt it.- My smile widened and I felt a warm glow in my chest, the kind that only Ben could evoke. I turned in his arms, tiptoed up to him and placed a soft kiss on his lips.-Thank you, Benny. I love you so much.-
After a while, we arrived at Ben's parents' house. Noise could be heard inside, confirming that several relatives had arrived. Emma's bright presence greeted us as the young woman opened the door and threw herself into Ben's arms. She hadn't seen the brunette in a long time, so she was very excited to see him again. She gave me a warm hug and a compliment that I didn't fully understand. 'You look bright, darling,' she said, and it made my skin crawl.-thank you, Em', you look very pretty too.-
We received a warm welcome when we arrived in the backyard of the large house. Ben's cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles were all there, implying that we had arrived late. We soon got distracted and went our separate ways. Ben's mother had asked me to keep her company while she prepared the side dishes with Ben's aunts. All the women in the house agreed on one thing: I had a different kind of glow. And that was all I needed to know that they already knew. Of course, they weren't stupid; they were mothers too, and they were young women in their pasts. The only one I confirmed to in my own words that I was pregnant was Ben's mother. She was my mother-in-law. Obviously, I should have told her. Her words were simple, though her eyes betrayed the emotion she felt. 'Honey, you've made me the happiest woman tonight… When Ben finds out, he's going to faint.'
When we all returned to the backyard, Ben sensed the slight shift in the energy of his female relatives and the way they looked at him slyly. The last sign came when we were saying goodbye to Ben's parents after a long night of family fun. Ben's father, 'Brian,' gave me a knowing look and a few words that drove Ben crazy. As soon as we settled into the car and hit the road, my gorgeous boyfriend's voice blared over the radio.-Will you explain to me what happened while you were with my aunts and mother that everyone was looking at me in such a strange way?…I really felt scared for a moment.- There was a slight joking tone in his voice but he sounded worried too.
I shifted a little uncomfortably in my seat, adjusting the hem of my dress. I noticed him looking at me out of the corner of his eye, and I knew I had to say something before he got more worried. "I have to tell you something, Ben… and I don't know if it's good or bad." The dark-haired man had to stop the car. If he was going to listen to what I had to say, he'd at least have to make sure I wasn't going to cause a disturbance on the road. When Ben pulled over, he turned around to look at me, his full attention on me. However, I couldn't do the same. My gaze was fixed on my hands, which were moving nervously before Ben's warm hand intervened. "I… I know you're at a high point in your career and that you still have a long way to go. My intention isn't to interfere with your plans, but I really didn't know how this happened…"
My voice began to quiver and I gripped Ben's hand tighter, as if trying to ensure he wouldn't leave. -What's wrong, baby?' I am seriously worried.-I take a few breaths before finally speaking, the expression on Ben's face was a poem that could never have been described, poor man. - I'm pregnant … - Total silence, that was what invaded the car and for a moment I almost burst into tears. - I'm going to be WHAT?! - Instead, I burst into laughter when he hugged me tightly and started covering my face with kisses. - IT CAN'T BE! … I AM THE LUCKIEST MAN IN THIS WORLD!.
-oh...I thought you wouldn't like the news...I was worried.-He shook his head, smiling and caressing my hair with a delicate touch.-why would I be mad when my gorgeous girlfriend is gonna be the mother of my baby?...this is all I had ever dreamed once, babe.- I can't help but kiss him, it's soft and calm, spilling all the love I have for him in a simple motion.

No idea why I'm sharing this but this is something that I've recently realized about myself and need to put it into words somewhere
For many years I was pretty sure I was a lesbian, and I only started to identify more with the bi/pan label over the last 2-3 years of my life. It's weird to say but I never struggled with accepting myself as being someone that liked people of the same sex and/or gender as me, because that felt very natural. Maybe because when I was a teenager, the idea of what was considered "acceptably desirable" in women was just a smidge more diverse in terms of body types than in previous decades (think of how for a while the cool thing for a brand to do was to showcase a couple of plus-sized women on their runways in a sea of skinny models y'know). And like of course I'm not saying that the 2010s were the holy grail for fat acceptance or anything like that, because they weren't, but for me, as an easily influenced teenager, I felt less isolated in being attracted to women of a larger size. But I never saw that kind of sentiment being extended to men in the mainstream, so for whatever reason I never thought I could be attracted to them as well. I was yet to develop a sense of self, so when my (mostly) straight group of friends talked of all the guys they found beautiful and they were always super masculine guys with six-packs and biceps larger than my head, I figured that well if I'm not into these guys, the peak of male attractiveness, then I'm not into guys at all. And I believed that about myself for years.
It wasn't until I actually realized I had food and belly related kinks that I also realized that I could be attracted to men. Because there I was, as a college freshman, seeing a community of people that would talk about fat men in a way that positioned their body as desirable. Suddenly I was like "OH men are just as hot as women actually".
Of course, I'm older now, I no longer need to be told something is good in order for me to admit that that thing is good, but as someone who had to deal with a very fatphobic household growing up, I did need to see my own feelings expressed by someone else before I could recognize and accept them. "Ugh, why oh why did my family have to move down south? This is absolutely out of hand. I mean, I knew it would be bad, and I warned them but they both seemed more than thrilled for their petite Liberal daughter to have a taste of what they really wanted for me deep down. I played on the volleyball team back home in Connecticut and loved it, so naturally as soon as I started University here I signed up and oh my god. It's immediate how much everyone down here wants you to become some hucow trad wife with a forty-five IQ. I've been here just one year and my first doctor's appointment went a little something like:
Them: "Hi, how many kids have you had so far?"
Me: "None, I'm only twenty."
Them, frantically writing a half dozen prescriptions: "That's horrible, we'll get you squared away. We'll start you off with fertility drugs, aphrodisiacs, pain pills--the good stuff, so you can take whatever the frat boys dish out. And IQ-lowering drugs."
Come to find out under my insurance, mandated by the state, I'm obligated to take all this stuff under legal penalty. I've heard I wouldn't go to jail, just a girls' correction camp where I'd be conditioned into love becoming a breeder. I couldn't believe any of it at first, but I adjusted..... knowing I'd be a horny, overly fertile mess with an IQ that shrank by the day....... I went from a 163 to an 84. But my doctor is unhappy and wants me to halve it asap.
I started playing volleyball and it clearly wasn't a sport down here, just a spectacle for male titillation. One team would be 'shirts' and the other would be 'skins'. The 'shirts' team would play with a tied off wet T-shirt, no bottoms, and the 'skins' would play topless in a super short schoolgirl skirt. In women's college sports, the winning team would be injected on the spot with breast-growth drugs, super potent, as a handicap of sorts. Punishing us for having athletic ability, same went for gymnasts or girls that ran track. They'd all be injected if they won. Most of us were absurdly pregnant. We all had huge boobs, fat asses, so horny we could hardly focus, bouncing and posing for the mostly male spectators. Doing fun things like groping ourselves when we score, or pissing ourselves in front of everyone as we rub our bellies sexily.
I gave birth during a game, still playing while in labor with quintuplets. I looked ready to explode and everyone joked that they hoped I would burst. Well, I'm not sure if they were joking, to be honest..... But as you can see my team did exceptionally well, thanks in large part to me, who actually came from a background playing the game seriously. The growing belly, bouncing udders, and shrinking IQ barely interrupted my focus..... Only problem is we're growing so fast and doing so well we're all starting to struggle with just how big our boobs are getting. I'm already two months pregnant again...... And we just won our first game yesterday. If I could feel pain I bet my back would hurt.....
The girls keep saying we're gonna have boobs so massive our backs break, and they say it like it's no big deal. Not to worry, we just need to meet good men who can take care of us once we're basically just a gigantic pair of breasts that can give birth, little more. They even naughtily say our bodies will be numb from getting paralyzed, so guys can do whatever they want to us and we won't even feel it. Guess all the pain meds are getting us ready to have a set of proper back-breaking tits. I even giggle and join in, knowing it's so disgusting and misogynistic...... I chat with my new friends, smoking, our pussies full of cum, our IQs turning to slush, breasts growing cartoonishly big, dripping milk constantly..... I tell them how fun it'll be watching my future husband do whatever he wants with me, having his way with my body, getting out all of his anger and frustration of my colossal breasts, each weighing more than me... maybe each weighing double what I do. And they all couldn't agree more with me. Maybe.... I'm starting to like living down here. How silly I was..... ever thinking I'd be more than pair of tits and a womb...."

Hi, do you mind explaining what is wrong with mid size, and what exactly is straight size? I wouldn't say I am on the plus size, but I do have a belly and would use the old fashioned term "plump" to describe myself, but I thought mid size was ok. Thank you for your help, and also, Happy Birthday!
Look at the use, or rather total avoidance, of the word “fat” from the descriptor. Fat is a word that has been used to belittle, degrade and shame larger bodies, and the reclamation of the word by fat people is a powerful tool in growing the fat acceptance and liberation movements. Using a label like mid-size which sidesteps the word “fat” entirely is watering down a concept that has been fought with literal blood, sweat and tears for decades. It’s a way for people to label themselves as different from skinny bodies, but also avoid labelling themselves as fat in any way, which they still consider a “negative” tag. There is still size discrimination in society: fat people don’t receive the same level of care that thin people do in the medical industry, and are denied jobs because of the way they look, to give just two examples. The goal of body inclusion movements is to remove the stigma associated with how someone looks (like assumptions about health, intelligence, or happiness). Because popularising a term like mid-size only puts the spotlight on people unlikely to face those struggles, it doesn’t help break down those barriers for bigger bodies. And that’s without even beginning to address to compounded discrimination faced by BIPOC, gender nonconforming and disabled people who are also fat – is far worse,
In 2020, I released a book called Fattily Ever After, a book focused on centering the perspectives and life experiences of larger sized fat Black women and women of colour in a climate where the voices of larger fat people were being drowned out and further marginalised in favour of more ‘acceptable’ curvy bodies, ie, mid-sized bodies. In the book, I explain in great detail the beginnings of the current wave of the body positivity community, and why its existence is incredibly important for the most marginalised bodies among us. The movement was created as a safe space for larger fat women (and more notably, women of colour) to be able to share our life sexperiences, heal and trade perspectives on how we navigate our lives in a world full of rampant fatphobia. It was a community filled with women who had experienced and had been exposed to; systemic fatphobia, abuse, harassment, fat-shaming, fetishisation, dehumanisation and humiliating treatment due to the shapes of their bodies. The commercialisation of the movement brought forward the visibility of smaller-sized curve models such as Iskra Lawrence, Ashley Graham and the like, and while it was great to see models bigger than a size 8 on the catwalk, in lookbooks and online, there was a clear problem; mid-sized models were being touted as plus size. Women whose bodies featured small waists, big bums, big breasts, small waists, flat-ish tummies and high cheekbones were suddenly being prioritised by the media and brands over the marginalised bodies who had helped create the movement. Advertisers intentionally began to water down fat acceptance to make it more palpable to mainstream audiences – leaving fat people out of its realm altogether.
"I understand there’s a need to want to be able to find other folks who share a similar experience because of what your body type or size is, but there is already language that exists to talk about the fatness of your body in ways that are linked to fat liberation." The language they refer to is the fatness spectrum, with terms such as 'small fat' (size 18 and lower), 'mid fat' (20-24), 'superfat' (26-32) and 'infinifat' (34 and higher). Each of these terms was created to address the type of lived experience you have based on your body size. Many have criticised the midsize movement for purposefully distancing itself from the words 'small fat' — words that would, in all likelihood, encapsulate the same bodily experience. For these critics, 'midsize' is inherently fatphobic. "When someone says 'midsize', all I hear from them is that they’re trying their best to distance themselves from fatness," concludes @gaydoodlebear.

This isn't a rant of how I don't like my body.
This isn't a rant of how I don't know my identity. In fact, I know myself quite well and I adore the body I've grown. I feel very fortunate to have learned to have peace with it. I acknowledge others aren't there. Sure.
But too many time I have conversations and I say something innocent like, "the chub chafes so having spray deodorant is a must."
And then the conversation is bent into a person having a knee-jerk reaction to tell me I'm beautiful, and I'm not chubby/curvy, I'm not fat, or "girl where? What are you talking about?".
I've loving said that I'm built solidly. A whole 160lbs and 5'1. I'm aware of the space I take up in my size. Which is neither too little or too much. The space, is me sized.
The space I take up is decades of other Sinti women, with broad shoulders, violin hips, belly pouches, strong noses, full lips and a frame that cannot be described as petite but also not described as large. I am made to carry the weight of our existence that could not be shattered.
I WILL NOT dare to say I am average sized. Nothing about me is average. I dare not insult myself.
I know so many people know my struggle. Assaulted with comments that are meant to be uplifting, but continue to put us in a place where we are stuck in the void.
I am shaped as Aphrodite. I am shaped as my ancestors. I am Dionysian child shaped. How dare the existence of my body be pigionholed into 'Averge'?
I can wear petite clothing. I can wear plus sized clothing. I can wear no clothing.
So what is it that makes so many people feel the need to apologize and give misguided compliments?? I am me. And that is ok. Let me have my curves, folds and dips.
To me. Those are my mountains, valleys and rivers. I want to shout to the stars about how much I love my body. So why do I need to edit my speech to make others comfortable???

Hello, I know this is gonna be an… odd and really, really embarrassing request. But I’ve heard this place is a great place to receive all kinds of advice, so I might as well ask. I’m an elf women from matuzu, and I completely despise my body type. I’m sure you’ve seen all the fashion shows & magazines to know what matuzu defines as beautiful right? Extra wide curves, big plump bellies, and overall extra curvaceous figures are all the rage over here. And as an elf I’m certain you can see what my issue is. How would an elf like me, you know, thicken up alittle? Or maybe a lot?
I’ve always been jealous of all the girls in the magazines here. Seeing all these gorgeous plus sized goddesses and wanting to be just like them my entire life, but unfortunately it seems the elven metabolism has cursed me to forever be skin and bones. I hate being so scrawny! I want to have the beautifully plump bodies of my idols yet no matter what I just can’t gain any weight! I’ve tried overeating countless times/ I’ve tried all those weight gain shakes and powders/ I’ve even wasted money once on some stupid scam potions (I’d rather not talk about it) yet nothings worked! I’m still this boney stick figure!
Is their any easy, sure fire way for elves to gain weight?. Is there some way to overpower, or maybe even trick the elven body into actually gaining weight naturally? I don’t have the money for transmutation procedures right now, but I’ve been saving up for one in case it might help. I don’t want to get too huge either, just grow plump enough to get some actual curves and gut those models have.
Every culture has its own standards of beauty, and unfortunately those standards aren't easy to meet for some species (in fact, it may not even be possible!)
I think there are two ways to go about this: You can struggle uphill to meet an unrealistic standard, or you can change your frame of mind to meet a more realistic standard.
The Matuzan standard of beauty doesn't really favor elves (I think historically, this is because elves are not native to the Midlands) but there are other cultures with beauty standards that favor what elves naturally have: tall lithe bodies, smooth skin, and androgynous appearance.
I recommend checking out some Seelie media, because this is a culture that heavily favors elves and celebrates their natural beauty. Seelie fashions accentuate taller, thinner bodies and the style is more unisexed. You could ruin your confidence by comparing yourself to the standards of a completely different species.
However, if you are totally determined to meet the Matuzan beauty ideal and you can't afford surgery or magical procedures, there are some things you can do to get closer to this look, even as an elf.
Gaining weight is very challenging for elves because elven bodies use magic very inefficiently, and magic use burns calories. Elves have passive magical abilities (like animal whispering) that burn calories whether they're casting spells or not. So, your main challenge will be storing more fat than you burn. You can do this by carefully planning your meals ahead of time, measuring the calories of each one, and choosing the highest-calorie foods you can (breads, pastas, and dairy are staples here)
Exercise is always a good thing, but you must refrain from casting spells whenever possible. You want your body to remain strong and healthy. Magic isn't necessarily required for this, but regular exercise is. For elves, even small spells burn tons of calories. If you must cast spells (such as for work), using a wand or staff will help you do so more efficiently than casting them from your bare hands.
Without transmutation procedures or surgery, an elf simply can't attain the same body type as other peoples, so temper your expectations. You will work very hard to achieve less-than-ideal results.
This is why I recommend changing your mindset instead, and focus on what you already have rather than what you don't! Good luck!

The Confusion That Started It All

I wasn’t supposed to even look into Hepatoburn.
It popped up like most trendy supplements do — in some scattered comments on Reddit, a YouTube testimonial buried in an unrelated video, and then again in a Facebook group for women over 40 struggling with stubborn belly fat. Nothing flashy. No aggressive advertising. Just... repetition. Quiet repetition.
“I’ve been using Hepatoburn for three weeks now. My lower stomach looks flatter when I wake up.”
That was the comment that made me stop scrolling.
It wasn’t dramatic. It wasn’t sponsored. It wasn’t even highlighted with before-and-after photos. But it felt real — like the person who wrote it didn’t expect anything to work... and was shocked that something actually might be.
I’ve tried enough “miracle” weight loss solutions to have earned my cynicism:
Teas that made me bloated
“Detox” drops that gave me heartburn
Gut cleanses that made me feel worse
$79 powders that did nothing but turn my water green
